New Student Application (Spring 2026)
Welcome to the new student application for Neuroaffirming KC's
groundbreaking
therapeutic microschool program!
This microschool program is for autistic, ADHD, & neurodivergent students aged 6 and up in the Kansas City metro area.
Our founding cohort of
Neuroaffirming Microschool KC
will operate from January 8th - May 5th of 2026.
And we are all so thrilled!
If you have any questions, you can email us at any time:
Contact@NeuroaffirmingKC.org
This application will help our team here at
Neuroaffirming Microschool KC
better understand your families needs, and allow us to get perspective on your child's strengths, needs, and interests. We want to gather information about your family's backgrounds, concerns, and goals in this initial application form.
Our team will be reviewing applications to December 15, 2025. We want to make sure that this program will provide a learning environment that works for your kids individual support needs & learning styles. Please be as detailed as you're able to, but
it's also okay if you aren't sure how to answer something!
Just say so, we can talk later if we need more info - do your best,
it doesn't have to be perfect!
Since this is most peoples' first question, let's get it out of the way. We are a startup and have no funding yet, so the program is fully tuition-based for now. Some scholarships will become available down the road; we can't say for sure when, but hopefully within a couple of years. Payment plans are flexible; the default here on Future Fund is monthly but we can set up weekly or biweekly plans as needed. We can also process tuition with personal checks if preferred.
For this founding cohort, the monthly tuition rates are as follows:
Monday and Wednesday class $1,500 per month
Tuesday and Thursday class $1,500 per month
Friday class $750 per month
This is a therapeutic microschool, we focus on supporting emotional, social, and sensory skills in tandem with academic knowledge. We do not use formal testing, group lectures style learning, or mandatory homework. Students 6 years of age or older in both Missouri & Kansas are welcome to attend; in both states this program will count towards their annual homeschooling hour requirements. We are not a traditional school, and so it is up to the parents to sign off on requirements being met. We will document hours spent learning and provide parents with their child's file upon request; both states work well with homeschooling families.
There is no application fee. A separate application form must be submitted for each child if multiple children from the same family are applying. If your child seems to be a good fit for this unique program, we will reach out to you about your next steps. If you have questions, feel free to email us at any time! Contact@NeuroaffirmingKC.org - thank you!
If you miss the application deadline on December 15th 2025, applications may still be accepted on a case by case basis, so please know that you're welcome to reach out!
